The Hot Peppers softball organization has been around for over forty years in this community. The team was formed in 1971 under the guidance of Head Coach Bill Roberts and his wife Sandy and has had them at the helm since the beginning of the team. The team has won numerouss awards, and titles throughout the years including ASA National championship. The girls youth fastpitch softball team has begun its 2011 fall season. In their first tourney in Tucson, the team placed third just missing the Championship game. On September 24 the team played in a USSSA tourney in Phoenix which was a Qualifier for the 2012 Nationals and won 7 games going undefeated in the tourney to win the Championship out of 15 competitive teams. The team ususally practices two times a week on Tues and Thurs at the Veterans park on Howard field usually around 5-7pm. The Hot Peppers are currently looking for a couple of new players and welcome your inquiries. Players 16 and under with the cutoff date of 1 Jan of 2012. We are looking for experienced players looking to compete and improve their softball skills for the next level of play.
