It prohibits discrimination based on Race, Color, Religion, National Origin, Gender, Disability, (physical and/or mental) and Familial Status (families w/children under 18 years of age). The laws prohibit housing providers such as landlords, sellers, lenders, and insurance agents from discriminating against anyone who has any one of the protected classes in the purchasing, rental, financing, or insuring of housing.
