K. Newby Gallery and Sculpture Garden announces the opening of its beautiful new building and garden at 15 Tubac Road. The 23 year-old gallery will celebrate its new location on February 10th and 11th, 2012 during the annual Tubac Festival of the Arts. Meet the Artists from 1 – 4 PM each day.
Expanding it's presence in the village of Tubac, the gallery has moved to a new 4900 square foot rustic ranch structure built on the previous location of the Newby sculpture garden. Gallery owner, Kim Roseman, says, “For me this new gallery is a dream fulfilled, a gallery space that will truly showcase the artists we represent and enhance Tubac as an American "arts destination". Our sculpture garden has expanded and evolved to surround the new gallery space. We have kept the desert xeriscape of the garden with subtle refinements, including a charming footbridge leading to the property from Tubac Road.”
Owner, Kim Roseman states, "We're very excited about this new venture. Our hopes are to provide an exhibit space conducive to enjoying great art while strolling in a beautiful, relaxing, garden atmosphere. We're designing this area to feature Monumental Sculptural works, unlike anything in the region." The Sculpture Garden will be free to the public and provides easy accessibility from both sides of Tubac, including from the new Plaza de Anza on the southern side of the village. For more information about the Garden or other upcoming exhibits, please call (520) 398-9662 or visit the gallery website at

Pre-cast offerings will be available from several of our artists.
Long time gallery director LeRoy Doyle hopes the new setting will cement K. Newby Gallery's reputation as Tubac's 'hometown gallery'. “We've been here a long time. People know us and they know we're here to bring them the finest in local and Southwestern art. Now we have the showplace we've always dreamed about.”
The new building is triple the size of the previous space and will enable the gallery to feature more works by their current stable of artists while adding flexibility to carry items complimenting the Southwestern lifestyle. In addition, the sculpture garden is available to rent for private parties, wedding receptions and other events. “We hope to expand our customer base while maintaining the excellent customer service and personal touch people have come to expect from us.” said owner Kim Roseman.
