Special Run of the old El Capitan (all coach train) across the Santa Fe Seligman Sub with Amtrak GE 8-32CW's on the point and one pushing. Shot between Truxton and Valentine, Arizona. Headed west into the setting sun with Seligman as our crew change point. We'll turn the train after the sun goes down and put a Super Fleet unit somewhere in the consist to hold it back as we make the trip back to Needles, AZ

This video features BNSF's Q LBALPC1 leaving California behind as it crosses the Colorado River into Topock, AZ, and again rolling between Hackberry and Valentine on BNSF's Seligman Subdivision. This is one of BNSF's 10000' stack trains. The M BELBAR1 is also seen at Topock. This video was taken in the Spring of 2010.

BNSF - East Valentine,Arizona 2007 Freight Train action

March 22nd, 2007 - BNSF freighter action on Route 66 30 miles east of Kingman, AZ - the BNSF freighter on the siding was a surprise - it had one engine running, no operator's in the cab. It just sat here. We had just missed a westbound freight - so we set up and waited. The 30 mile drive from Kingman,AZ east, showed no eastbound freights behind us - but it didn't take long...this is one of the few area's where I could park safely and film, though this whole area is beautiful and lots of rail vantage points. (2003) Roy Horn ( Siegfried and Roy) tiger attack and Jonathan Kraft after a tiger attacked an animal caretaker's leg at Keepers of the Wild's former holding facility in 2003. Keepers of the Wild relocated to a 175 acre property located in Valentine, Arizona off of Historic Route 66 at mile marker 87.
