Anaheim Historical Society

Mission:

The Anaheim Historical Society was founded in 1976 as a non-profit educational with the following mission in mind:

- To share our mutual interest in history and to provide fellowship with other historically minded people of all ages;

- To increase our knowledge of the history of our area through monthly meetings and to gain first hand knowledge of historical sites through explorations and field trips;

- To take a positive approach concerning the preservation of old homes and buildings and to preserve Anaheim's unique history in every way possible;

- To create a permanent place in which to display items of historical interest;

- To share with other civic groups the responsibility for educating Anaheim residents of all ages concerning local history;

- To cooperate with other local history groups and to expand our horizons and promote interaction with other Orange County historical groups with whom we share a common interest and goals.
