from:Belmont Parks and Recreation Department category:Sports and Recreation posted:January 27th, 2012
The City of Belmont has an updated tree ordinance. Trees provide a canopy and natural environment which contributes to the uniqueness of our community while residents benefit through energy conservation, air purification, erosion control, and noise and wind mitigation. To see when a tree permit is required and how to get a permit, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department Office located at 30 Twin Pines Lane. There are no fees for consulting staff. If a permit is issued, a fee that is being established will be required. For more information please go to: www.belmont.gov under the subheading “Parks and Recreation,” then “Activity Guide!” See Page 11.
