Hawaiian Jam and Singalong and Hula Recap Story and Photos

from:City of Belmont category:Clubs and Organizations posted:December 15th, 2011

Nearly 40 participants jammed “Hawaiian-Style” at the Hawaiian Jam and Sing-along and Hula on Monday, December 12 at the Twin Pines Senior & Community Center in Belmont. Memories of tropical breezes filled the room as ukuleles and hula dancing made Hawaii come alive. Everyone played an instrument and/or sang-along. The Hula Halau was made up of visiting San Jose Parks and Recreation Department employees who were joined by others from the group. The event is sponsored in partnership with Always Best Care and is held on the second Monday of each month (excluding Holidays).

The Center is located at 20 Twin Pines Lane and offers all types of fun events, lunches at the Twin Pines Café, and many other services for active, independent Seniors. For further information, please call: (650) 595-7444.
