Art Benicia Presents: Recent Work by Carol Dalton

Inspired by both primitive and modernist traditions, Carol Dalton's series of collaged and pigmented paintings reflect organizational systems that strive for "imperfect balance." Through her iconographic language of grids and floating objects of various size, shape and texture, Dalton creates paths to investigate and understand herself and the world, while also discovering balance between polarities along the way.

Arts Benicia Presents is a series of rotating exhibitions hosted by several venues throughout Benicia, and is an adjunct program of Arts Benicia.
