Carnaval Celebration with Sarava Zamba, a Brazilian ensemble based out of Berkeley and founded in 2009. “Our music can be described as a high energy Brazilian fusion that mixes tropical groove with hints of Samba, funk, and popular dance music.” The music of Sarava Zamba is fun, filled with a festive tropical vibe. Sarava Zamba founding members include Leo Lobo, vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion; Silvio Correia, vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion, and Jair Silva/ back vocal and percussion.
