Special Hearing on West Branch and South Branch Library Projects

The Zoning Adjustments Board and Landmarks Preservation Commission will hold a joint public hearing on these two projects, regarding Use Permit applications and consideration of the Final Environmental Impact Report:

West Branch Library Project - http://www.berkeleypubliclibrary.org/about_the_library/documents/2011_03_31_ZAB_LPC_PHN_1125_University.pdf (demolition of existing structure in order to construct a new branch library)

South Branch Library Project - http://www.berkeleypubliclibrary.org/about_the_library/documents/2011_03_31_ZAB_LPC_PHN_1901_Russell.pdf (demolition of existing structure in order to construct a new branch library and tool library)

The public hearing will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Maudelle Shirek Building, 2134 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, second floor Council chambers beginning at 6:00 p.m.
