Berkeley Marina is the largest municipal marina in the Bay Area. In addition to 1,000 boat berths, the marina includes numerous parks and public-serving recreational organizations, some of which offer very low-cost access to boating and windsurfing. These including Cal Sailing Club, Berkeley Racing Canoe Center, Shorebird Nature Center, Adventure Playground, Berkeley Yacht Club, the Pegassus, the Cordell Explorer, a boatyard, hotel, Hornblower dinner cruise yachts, several restaurants and a fleet of fishing boats.
