Wilshire- May 10
An addiction treatment
program that boasts a 90%+ success rate over the past 30 years will host a free
public “mocktail” reception at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel (9500 Wilshire Blvd)
in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, May 10. Hors d’oeuvres will be served from 6
p.m. to 7 p.m. followed by revelations from several clients who successfully
overcame their addictions to sex, drugs, alcohol and food. They will
explain how they were freed from the bonds of addiction thanks to The Nelson
Center, an exclusive outpatient program based in Brentwood. Founder Roy
Nelson will make a rare public appearance to offer hope to addicts and their
families and friends and unveil details about the new Center. Stacy D.
Phillips, noted attorney at Phillips, Lerner, and Lauzon, LLP, author of “Divorce:
It’s all about Control" and a staunch supporter of The Nelson Center, is
co-hosting this first-time event. “A leading cause of divorce is
addiction,” said Phillips. “The Nelson Center offers a proven treatment
to those who are looking to overcome their addictions. I have witnessed,
firsthand, the amazing results in the lives of clients and am honored to
co-host this event that I believe will offer hope to those who need it most.”
Until now, The Nelson
Center has operated “under the radar” with an exclusive and ultra-wealthy
clientele who dedicate themselves to an intensive one-on-one program.
President Tricia Greaves, co-author of “Thank God I” and “101 Ways to Improve
Your Health,” says that clients are usually addiction-free in as little as 28
days and counseling is available for life. That includes food
addicts who have been able to shake their addictions and become thin and
stay thin effortlessly.
“Most 12-step and other familiar treatment
programs focus on the symptoms where The Nelson Center helps clients dig deep
within themselves to learn of the true source of their addictions,” said
Greaves. “We hope to share our approach with those most in need – the
addicts – as well as their friends, family and even other addiction treatment
specialists. We want them to know there is hope out there for truly
overcoming the root cause of addictions.”
