Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden

Beverly Hills will observe the 10th anniversary of those tragic events that befell our country and affected people from all over the globe. Save the date and join us for the realization of our community coming together for this meaningful remembrance and the dedication of the Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden.

As with so many historic events our nation has experienced, September 11, 2001, is a day we shall never forget.  The Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden will serve to honor all those who were lost, those devoted to keeping America safe and all of us who still believe everyone is created equal and deserves the rights of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Our community, including members from Firefighters, Police Officers, City staff and elected officials, desire the opportunity to create a memorial setting in our City to honor our American heroes.  A volunteer group, the Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Committee, has been established to oversee this project, fundraising efforts and community outreach.

The unveiling of the Beverly Hills 9/11 Memorial Garden will take place September 11, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center. The community will gather in front of the Beverly Hills Fire Department.
