Mission / Outreach

Members and guests who worship at Burlingame Presbyterian not only talk the talk but also walk the walk. We are the hands and feet of Christ and believe we must help those in need and utilize the gifts that God has given us. Each person is offered several opportunities to actively participate in missions, work trips, community programs and help to the needy.

We provide direct financial support to 17 local outreach programs, 16 Bay Area programs, 9 national outreach programs and 8 international missionary programs. This is one of our most active ministries. Members and friends find many opportunities to actively participate in outreach work such as an annual one-week work trip to Mexico to build homes for families living in barrios in great poverty. We also travel to the Salt River Indian community in Phoenix, Arizona.
