City Of Calexico 2010 General Tax Citizen Oversight Advisory Committee – Public Workshop

The Committee welcomes your participation in the upcoming public workshop.

This is an opportunity for public input to be taken into consideration when the Committee determines their formal recommendations to the City Council for the use of Measure H funds.

AT THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO:

- Learn and understand the guidelines for the use of monies received through Measure H.

- Receive information pertaining to how much money the City has received through Measure H to date.

- Learn of the Measure H Committees decision to limit funding consideration to three departments.

- Provide input to assist the Committee in assessing the publics’ priorities for funding through Measure H proceeds.

- Assist in drafting the funding allocation plan to be presented to the City Council as a recommendation.

Public participation is essential to ensuring that these funds, which were obtained by the voters of Calexico approving Measure H, are used in a manner consistent with the publics’ intentions and expectations.
