City Of Calexico And Salvation Army Distributed Gift Baskets

The City of Calexico and the Salvation Army joined together for a Christmas gift basket program.  Dozens of families came to City Hall where they were greated by Captain Jerry and Vicky of the Salvation Army as well as Mayor Castro, City Manager Rodriquez, Councilwoman Hurtado and Councilman Hodge.  Bags of toys were given to the families and food was also provided to the families.  A few bikes were given out as well as Christmas trees for families who were in need of one.  Students from the Enrique Kiki Camarena Junior High School, under the direction of Teacher Monica Rendon, volunteered during the event.  thank you to everyone who came to the event and all of you who will run the story.
