Our Mission

We, the Catholic Christian Community of St. Philomena Parish, graciously embrace the saving mission of Jesus Christ by proclaiming the Gospel, celebrating our faith through worship enriched by our multicultural traditions, and serving the Community at large by sharing our gifts and talents.

We, as baptized members of the one body, acknowledge our commitment to Ministry and realize that this call is shared by everyone. Being committed to the Vision of Vatican Council II, we recognize the priority of the family and support the on-going spiritual growth of our community through evangelization, formation and cathechizes.

We believe in faith in action and carry out the mission of Jesus in our daily lives by serving one another in love. We are dedicated in preserving the sanctity and dignity of human life and answering the call to perform the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. In celebrating Christ's presence among us through sacraments and worship, we in turn reach out to the surrounding community, giving freely and lovingly to all.
