Family Show - Carnival Of The Animals

Award-winning conductor-composer Robert Kapilow helps children explore how composers use music to portray animal sounds and movements.  Hear roaring lions, wild horses, and twittering birds in Camille Saint-Saëns’ The Carnival of the Animals and insects buzzing in Flight of the Bumblebee by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.  Kapilow will also present John Gardner’s poem And Furthermore, They Bite!, with his inimitable humor and original music.
