Join the Sacramento Country Dance Society for a fun and energetic evening of contra dance on Friday evening, November 20 at the Davis High School Dance Room 315 W. 14th Street, Davis.

Mavis McGaugh will call to the melodic sounds of Band du Jour (Rick D’Onofrio, Terri Hauck, and Debra Tayleur).

If you've never been to a Davis dance, here's your chance...you'll find a crowd with such high energy and spirits you'll wish you could bottle it!

Dance starts at 8PM, but for those who would like a beginner's lesson, please show up at 7:30PM.  Donation is $10 for adults, $5 for full time students with ID and $25 for families.  Remember dancers:  Davis High School requests that only devoted dance or soft soled shoes that don't leave marks be worn so their floor remains in good shape for high school student use.

You don't need a partner or experience to contra dance and we offer a free beginner's lesson 1/2 hour prior to each dance, so come on down and give it a try!
