Evening Highway 99 Closures Ahead

Next week, portions of Highway 99 at Grant Line Road will be closed for night work related to the Grant Line Interchange project.  Crews will be working on the overpass, keeping the project on schedule.

Southbound 99 will be closed on Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.  Northbound 99 will be closed Wednesday, May 14 and Thursday, May 15 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The overcrossing, on-ramps, and off-ramps will still be operational.

Flaggers will detour traffic.  The Elk Grove Police Department and California Highway Patrol will be on site to ensure the work does not create significant traffic delays.

The City of Elk Grove is more than halfway complete with the reconstruction of the Grant Line Interchange, and expect completion this fall.
