Chagall was one of the most prominent painters of the modern post-impressionist era. This hands-on exhibition gives children the opportunity to touch, draw, and immerse themselves in the world of this great artist. Based on the art of Marc Chagall (1887-1985), a Russian-born Jewish painter who lived most of his life in France, the interactive exhibition features 14 fine reproductions of the artist's works.

Viewers may experience and explore paintings such as The Birthday, The Rooster and Paris Through the Window, through a variety of multi-sensory, hands-on activities. "Chagall for Children" was developed by the Kohl Children's Museum of Greater Chicago, Illinois and is supported in part by the Women's Association of the Kohl Children's Museum.

Designed for viewers grades K-5, "Chagall for Children" may be enjoyed by children ages 4-104.
