The AAPA exists to provide educational advocacy and support to African American students residing in California. In addition, the AAPA will host parental workshops to educate parents, foster parents and grandparents about District processes relative to their children. The AAPA also seeks to increase the effectiveness of partnering between the parents, students, school administrators, community and churches.
