Our purpose is to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ through a committed relationship with: Father God, the local church, and those who do not yet know Jesus Christ.

Crescenta Valley Community Church doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds.Many people in the Los Angeles area are skeptical of "organized" religion. This suspicion includes the notion that the church is really self-serving, judgmental, demanding or not relevant to the needs of the community. Many people find themselves overextended in both time and money, and the idea of becoming involved in a local church is uninviting.

What visitors usually notice first is the large number of people who attend our weekly services and the ministries that meet a wide range of needs. Our size has benefits: we’re big enough for you to blend in and investigate the claims of Jesus Christ anonymously, if you choose to.

Together, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible—a church with relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we’d like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.
