Mission Statement
Center Theatre Group is one of the nation’s leading arts and cultural organizations, and Los Angeles preeminent non-profit theatre company.
We produce award-winning theatre year-round in the Ahmanson Theatre and the Mark Taper Forum at the Los Angeles Music Center, and in the Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City.
We present the greatest range of theatrical entertainment available from one theatre company.
Our mission is to entertain, but also to provoke and to inspire. We believe that theatre is nothing less than a cultural force that has the power to transform the lives of individuals and society at large.
We reach out beyond our stages through our education programs to connect with Los Angeles youth - our future audience and our future artists.
We are grateful for our subscriber base, the largest of any non-profit theatre arts organization. And we are indebted to our loyal donors, whose generosity makes it possible for us to stage the highest caliber productions and to share our art with Los Angeles youth.
