John Muir Birthday - Earth Day Celebration

Join us for another great John Muir Birthday–Earth Day Celebration at the John Muir National Historic Site in Martinez, California. Admission is free!

Guests will enjoy interactive activities for children and adults, live entertainment, self-guided tours of the historic home and grounds—including the California Native Plant Garden—and much more.

John Muir will celebrate his birthday, as portrayed by National Park Service ranger Frank Helling, by sharing his birthday cake with guests. Lunch and beverages will be available for purchase. The Celebration is presented by the John Muir Association and the National Park Service.
