Statement of Purpose

Central Presbyterian Church is a church whose members covenant together to continually grow in the KNOWLEDGE of Jesus Christ through the disciplines of preaching, teaching, Bible Study and prayer; so that they may continually grow deeper in the LOVE of God, expressing that love in SERVICE by the Holy Spirit through worship, stewardship evangelism and all manner of good works, to the end that each member is an effective minister of God’s grace, first to the community of faith and then to the world.

Mission Statement

Called by God the Father, redeemed by Jesus Christ, and guided by the Holy Spirit, Central Presbyterian Church seeks to be:

-a worshiping congregation.
-a praying church relying on God in all things and for all things.
-a holy family of faith known by our love for one another.
-a discipling church nurturing our “members” into “ministers” through the discerning of God’s call to be equipped, enabled, commissioned for service, and then sent out.
-a united church, bearing with one another according to the Word of God.
-a sacrificing church as we seek to give all that we have and are to glorify God.
-a Great Commission Church that proclaims the Gospel to our community and the world.
