Empire Union School District

Empire Union School District. Located in Modesto, the district is a suburban elementary district with a current enrollment of over 4,000 students. Empire is a growing district with enrollment having doubled since 1976 because of rapidly growing Modesto suburbs.

Projections indicate student enrollment will continue to grow over the next several years, but at a more moderate rate. Covering 25 square miles, the district includes east Modesto, the community of Empire, and adjacent farm areas.
