Since it's conception, Big Newport has grown into it's existing six theater setup, three of those screens with stadium style seating. Those who want to see a movie the way it was intended to be seen should make the trip to Fashion Island and visit this first-class theater.
The main screen is the largest movie screen on the West Coast, attracting both film fans and tourists. It is a 40-by-80-foot screen that attracts the newest releases. With a seating capacity of 1,108, the theater is big and roomy and boasts a Dolby Surround Sound system. The seats in the theater are designed with comfort in mind. The seats are large, high-back, velour-cushioned reclining chairs with cup holders and plenty of leg room. With the addition of the three Stadium theaters, the theater's total seating capacity for all screens is over 3,000.

Many visited this theater for the opening of Star Wars: Episode I, and we had and even more spectaular turn out and grand celebration for the newest installment of the Star Wars saga.
