Philosophy

Since 1988, MOCHA has encouraged hands-on learning in the arts and has promoted the arts as a way to help children of all backgrounds develop as healthy, resourceful and involved citizens. MOCHA promotes the arts as an integral part of strong, vibrant communities. We provide opportunities for children to explore their creativity; design, implement and advocate for hands-on arts education programs; and emphasize outreach to children and families from low-income communities.
