Mission Statement

At the West Oakland church of Christ we have dedicated ourselves to intense biblical study and the spreading of the gospel. Our sole intent is to follow the New Testament pattern as laid down by the apostles and prayed for by Christ (John 17:20). We attempt to speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent. A unique element of the church that belongs to Christ is that we strive and thrive in teaching the same things in all the congregations throughout the world (1 Corinthians 4:17 and 2 Timothy 2:2). We maintain the fact that the Bible is right, the mind of God and without flaw.
