Mission :
The Mission of the Community Foundation of Orange is to enhance the quality of life in our community by supporting community programs through financial and community partnerships.

Vision :
We fulfill our mission by: Raising funds in order to make grants to support local community issues; Encouraging individuals, families, and businesses to partner with us to fulfill their financial and charitable goals in our community; Assembling people to work on community problems and convening coalitions of groups who can help fulfill our mission; Honoring groups and individuals for improving our community.

Background :
Orange is a community rich in promise and potential. Thanks to a vibrant business community and individuals who are passionate about giving back, that promise is being realized through your Community Foundation of Orange where initiatives are being established that will support families, build community, develop facilities with programs for youth, promote wellness for seniors, strengthen local youth and adult sports leagues and champion early childhood development.

We have been building our infrastructure to create a lasting resource, committed to building civic investment and community involvement. Because we address local needs, we are the best source for strengthening the community through projects that encourage leadership and capacity from within, while respecting and valuing the rich diversity represented in our geographic region.

Values :
We are building a solid foundation based on a long tradition of helping bring about thoughtful, effective change. Social interaction and acceptance are critical to a healthy person and to the community as a whole. We have a passion for improving the lives of others by sharing the gifts and talents we each possess. We are dedicated to establishing initiatives that support families, build community, and promote healthy lifestyles for at- risk youth.
