Native Foods to Hold June 15 Benefit for New Animal Shelter

Bring your four-legged friends and your appetite to popular vegan eatery Native Foods on Tuesday, June 15 when Chef Tanya Petrovna will celebrate her 50th birthday with a special fundraiser for the new Palm Springs Animal Shelter.

The event, slated from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., will be held at Native Foods, 1775 E. Palm Canyon Drive – and will feature complimentary appetizers as well as beer and wine for just 50 cents. A $1 -- or million dollar donation will
be gratefully accepted!

Then shelter supporters are invited to purchase dinner from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a percentage of all sales going to the new animal shelter, to be located on Mesquite and Vella roads. Beer and wine will be 50 percent off during dinner.

In addition, several rescued dogs from the current shelter will be on hand to for those looking to adopt a new pet – and members of the board of Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter will also be on hand to discuss the plans for the new facility. To RSVP, call Native Foods at (760) 416-0070.
