Mr. Fletcher began his teaching career in 2003 as a teacher for the Ravenswood City School District. After two years at Cesar Chavez Academy, he moved to JLS where he taught math/science core classes for sixth grade. In the 2008-09 school year, Mr. Fletcher was appointed to a “teacher-on-special-assignment” (TOSA) position and also selected as the school’s mathematics instructional supervisor.
Don Cox, current principal of JLS Middle School, shared, “Ryan has done a great job for us this year as an administrative TOSA. He and Sharon Ofek, the newly appointed JLS principal, worked very closely this year. I expect that Ryan will have a very smooth transition into his new role as assistant principal. I know the Ms. Ofek and the staff have every confidence that he will continue to be an asset to the JLS administrative team.”
