Goals

Develop a County Strategic Plan to help shape County and Board policy, program, and financial priorities, using the County’s performance measurement program to assess success in meeting priorities while improving the results of County services.

Enhance County land use development and public infrastructure through:
a. Implementation of the County’s General Plan.
b. Development of a strategy to enhance available transportation funding for critical highway, bridge, street, water, and public transportation needs; and
c. Development of a timeline and financial plan to assure adequate County facilities, including libraries, parks, and recreation facilities.

Maintain an emphasis on sound fiscal management that provides for sustainable County operations.

Develop opportunities to invest in and maintain a highly skilled and responsive workforce so that El Dorado County government becomes a workplace of choice.

Develop a Countywide reputation for providing excellent customer service to all external and internal customers.
