Music with Kermit Welch and the Backyard Band

The Palos Verdes Library welcomes versatile musical group Kermit Welch and the Backyard Band, featuring a live music performance of Polkas, including European and American music at  Miraleste Library on Saturday, October 11 at 2pm.

A performance of lively tunes from folksy and ethnic music to Ragtime favorites, join us for this musical afternoon as Welch and the Backyard Band play musical selections that are sure to please. 

This 5-piece band features music in the tradition of Polka music including Waltzes, Schottiches, and Mazurkas.  Some of their popular Ragtime tunes include, "The Entertainer," "Crush Collision," and When Your Hair has Turned to Silver."
