Hawthorne Elementary School

At Hawthorne Elementary School, student achievement and student learning is accomplished through the establishment of a clear vision. Our students are provided a challenging curriculum that emphasizes reading and writing skills throughout the content areas. A believe in setting high expectations and accountability for student achievement is shared by all staff at Hawthorne. We have an outstanding staff of professionals who utilize a team approach to provide a quality education for students. At Hawthorne, all aspects of the school programs are integrated to provide optimum services and support for allstudents.

We encourage parent participation in all aspects of our school program at Hawthorne. Parents are encouraged to volunteer and participate through the P.T.A., the School Site Council, the Parent Title I Advisory Committee and the English Language Learners Parent Advisory Committee. Together, we can provide Hawthorne students an outstanding educational program that will help them reach their potential and prepare them for a promising future.
