Children 5 to 7 years old

Have you ever heard, “Eeek, it’s a bug!” or “Gross, it’s a snake!”? In this workshop children get the “dirt” on worms, the “low-down” on leeches, the “skinny” on snakes, and the “scoop” on poop. We learn why bugs, snakes, and other “yucky” things are important neighbors in our shared habitat. A craft project, Zoo walk, and a visit with some of our Animal Resource Center animals are part of the fun!

Fee: SFZS Members $25; all others $30. Pre-registration required. (415) 753-7073.
