Accounting Software Overview, Industry Specific Bookkeeping Terms, Data Entry Techniques and Processes 4 hours   This is a hands-on workshopwith laptops and sample data provided, covering intermediate QuickBooks techniques and processes tailored for Construction Subcontractors. Participants should be familiar with QuickBooks.   Learn job costing and the calculation of job costing multipliers, efficient processes for entering your accounting data, bookkeeping data flow processes, and how to get timely and accurate bookkeeping information. We will demonstrate how to track estimates and change orders, execute progress billing, calculate indirect cost multipliers and labor job costing, enter vendor bills and credit card statements, and produce financial reports.   Topics include financial versus tax and cost accounting, the importance of budgeting, the purpose of different financial reports, cash flow management, job costing, creating estimates and change orders, progress billing, customizing reports, and more.   Exercises include entering estimates, change orders and invoices, project job costs, and reviewing job-costing reports and more.
