The Floral Neighborhood Association (FPNA) is a nonprofit community organization committed to developing a sense of unity within and preserving the integrity of our neighborhood. Members include residents and non-resident owners within Floral Park’s defined borders.

Floral Park was the center of much media attention in 2005 when it was recognized as “Neighborhood of the Year,” piquing the curiosity of thousands of Southland residents. The title was given by Neighborhoods, USA in recognition of what it saw as the outstanding example of what a volunteer effort can bring to community building, namely the annual Floral Park Home & Garden Tour.

Located in the northern tip of Santa Ana, the Floral Park neighborhood is a community of more than 600 period (vintage) homes built in 1920s through the 1950’s. Recognized as one of Orange County’s most established neighborhoods, the area is noted for its spacious lots, tree-lined streets, vintage lampposts, and friendly neighbors. The Floral Park Neighborhood Association works actively to preserve the character and beauty of the neighborhood and to provide a sense of community and tradition to its residents. Currently, eighteen homes in Floral Park are Registered Historical Landmarks.

Since its inception, the Floral Park Neighborhood Association (FPNA) has remained steadfast in its charter to support local organizations. In fact, the Association’s bylaws mandate that a minimum 15 percent of the net revenues generated by the annual Home & Garden Tour be directly allocated to Santa Ana charitable organizations. In addition to supporting educational and charitable organizations, the Floral Park Neighborhood Association routinely earmarks funds for a variety of neighborhood beautification projects and social events.

Residents of Floral Park come together several times throughout the year to enjoy the New Neighbor Mixers, 4th of July Freedom Fest, Summer Concert, and Winter Holiday event.

The Floral Park Neighborhood Association works actively to preserve the character and beauty of the neighborhood and to provide a sense of friendliness and helpfulness to its residents.
