He was never on the track and speed is NOT his thing. Leaping off the ground is NOT his thing. . .sorry jumpers, he has ZERO interest in jumping. He is, however, safe and sane for kids and beginners under someone's guidance, (mom, trainer, siblings, etc.). He was foaled February 18th, 2005, so almost 6 years old, and stands a solid 15 hands. He is excellent in the arena walk, trot, canter, alone or with others, and enjoys pleasure/ equitation, dressage and just tooling around, again, speed is NOT his thing, so not a candidate for anything with speed. Does exceptionally well on the trail, ridden regularly on the Placerville bike trail and has been in parades, so not traditionally spooky, but has turned to look at a drain pipe or stare down a hiker with a big backpack and walking sticks. He is a face his "demons" kind of guy. He will ride out in groups but isn't a leader if he goes out in a pack. He will if he has to, but otherwise would rather take any position that isn't the leader. Alone he will willingly walk out, happy as a clam, eager to explore. He trailers well in anything, alone or with others, even trailers well when the other horse is a rookie and he walks off the trailer anywhere just as quiet and sane as he went in.
