Summer Art Studio Class - Self-Portraiture

Who better to make art about than yourself? We will explore self-portraits in art throughout history and visit the special exhibition Spared From the Storm: Masterworks from the New Orleans Museum of Art to learn more about different artistic techniques and approaches to self-portraiture. In the studio, we will use various media such as paint, charcoal, ink, collage, and found objects to make self-portraits that express the distinctive qualities that make you “you.”
