Established in the 1950's, this organization became especially active after sponsoring the opening of their artists and crafters co-op store, Gallery 'N' Gifts.Tehachapi Valley Art Assoc. Inc. is
an association of artists, craftspeople and other persons whose primary
purpose is to promote the production, presentation and appreciation of the
arts in the Tehachapi area.

The organization sponsors many local events such as the Springtyme Faire, Fall Harvest Faire, Chalk on the Walk, Photo Contests, and a Youth Art Contest.
