Journey Christian Church

Our mission:

Our mission as part of the Kingdom is to reach all people, not just in Tracy, but in every outpost of the world. As a church, we tithe a tenth of our offerings toward missions, and have adopted these four mission targets to fulfill Jesus' 1:8 command. For more information, click on the links below.

The Vision:

God has given us a distinct vision for Journey, that we are pursuing with all of our energy and enthusiasm. It challenges us to trust in Him completely and humbly work together as a team, knowing that only God Himself can fully realize it's results. We do not take any credit for the vision or the praise of its outcome, knowing that Jesus is the only reason it is possible. Join us as we together take this journey to Christ with thousands of others.

20 Year Vision:

Become a Regional Church for Tracy, Mountain House & San Joaquin Valley

Build evangelistic life group ministry that reaches 12,000 people

Grow to weekly worship body of 10,000 people

Develop a team ministry model reaching across Caucasian, Hispanic, and African-American and Asian segments

Build an internship program that coaches & mentors 20 ministry staff for future planting ministries

Plant churches in Stockton, Manteca, Modesto, Livermore, and Pleasanton, and begin targeting other Central Valley areas

Involve every member in at least one short term mission trip or global ministry

5 Year Vision:

Grow evangelistic life group ministry that reaches 1,300 people

Develop a weekly worship body of 1,500 people

Build the models to support growth in the Hispanic community

Plant 2 new churches within the greater Central Valley region

Educate and commit resources to the mission field, sending at least 2 teams out on short term mission trips.
