Valley Community Baptist Church
We live in a broken world. Individuals, families and countries live in despair and hopelessness. But God has the answer - Jesus! God has chosen to partner with us his followers as we share the answer by bringing restoration and hope to the lost.
At VCBC we carry out God's Great Commission by making disciples at home and abroad. In our community we partner with various Christian organizations to meet the needs of individuals and share the love of Christ. Internationally we partner with the North American Conference and several independent missionary groups.
The purpose of this statement of belief for Valley Community Baptist Church (VCBC) is to identify a spirit of unity by declaring the common doctrinal understandings of the church. In doing this it will also serve as a reference point where opinions differ and provide a basis for doctrinal discussion in admitting members into VCBC. It does provide a guide for those who are examining this church for the purpose of participation in membership. The following then are the basic doctrinal beliefs of VCBC:
