Kids Zone Museum

Mission Statement:
The KidZone Museum is a nonprofit children’s museum serving Truckee and the Lake Tahoe basin. Our mission is to inspire the lifelong love of learning by engaging the minds, muscles and imaginations of children. Our exhibits, museum events, and programs encourage family participation. Through play, we want to foster the relationship between parent and child.

During the first five years of life, a child experiences the most brain development. The more social, physical, and cognitive opportunities infants and toddlers have, the healthier they will be for the rest of their lives.
