This exhibit opens on Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 pm. The Whittier Museum has an extensive collection of women's undergarments that will be on display for this exhibit and we are also fortunate that the Bailey House has loaned to us two very unique items. This exhibit will illustrate the transformation of women's undergarments from the tight and restrictive corset to the fashions of today and explore the world event that influenced this transformation.
