Longmont Museum

The Friends of the Longmont Museum, Inc., has provided vital financial and volunteer support to the Museum for more than 20 years. As the primary fund-raising and membership organization for the Longmont Museum, the Friends supports the exhibits and programs that make the Museum unique.

Recent support has included major funding for:

Rubber Side Down: Motorcycles in American Culture, an exhibit that drew record crowds during its 2005-2006 run,

Annual internship stipends to help train the next generation of museum professionals,

The Museum’s history lecture and summer concert series, Summer children’s programming, and Exhibit development and rental costs.
