The Barnum Square Toastmasters Club invites you to attend our next scheduled meeting to fulfill your goals. These dynamic, award winning, Barnum Square Toastmaster Club members will provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment for you. Every member has the opportunity to develop and improve their communication and leadership skills.
Barnum Square Toastmasters meet every Tuesday, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM in the Bethel Municipal Center, 1 School Street, Bethel, on the lower level (follow signs for the "Bethel Senior Center".) We gather for our “meet and greet” set-up at 11:45 AM. The meeting and educational program starts at 12:00 PM (noon) sharp and adjourns at 1:00 PM.

Fees are: $20 - New Member Packet: $27 - International dues, paid semi-annually (pro-rated for new members to the month they join): $6 - Local Club dues, paid semi-annually. Total dues = $33 semi-annually after initial payment.

Individuals wishing to tackle their fear of public speaking, improve their ability to think on their feet, learn how to communicate clearly, and develop into competent leaders are welcome to visit a meeting to see what we're all about. Experienced speakers are welcomed to come polish both their communication and leadership skills.
We would be happy to answer any questions you might have about Toastmasters either before or after the meeting. You may also contact us with any immediate questions.

Contestants will deliver an original speech with a clearly evident theme that uses humor to enhance the value and purpose.
Time: 5 - 7 minutes, +/- 30 seconds

Contestants will give a 2 - 3 minute Evaluation of a target speech given by a preselected Toastmaster. All contestants will be give an evaluation of the same target speech.
