Bridgeport Rolls Out The Red Carpet For Gala Performance Of Sister Robert Anne’s Cabaret Class A “One-Nun-Sense Musical Event” By Nunsense Composer Dan Goggin To Benefit Playhouse On The Green

Unique evening includes pre-show cocktail hour, Q&A with Goggin about his very “Nunny” career,  and post-show reception.

Bridgeport, CT - Playhouse on the Green presents a special Gala performance of Sister Robert Anne’s Cabaret Class, a “One-Nun-sense Musical Event” by “Nunsense” composer Dan Goggin, as a benefit for the Bridgeport not-for-profit theater company.

The unique evening begins with an open bar cocktail hour from 7PM-8PM, followed by a special performance of Sister Robert Anne’s Cabaret Class, directed by Dan Goggin and starring Deborah Del Mastro, veteran of many Nunsense tours and TV versions of the wildly popular musicals. Following the performance, Goggin participates in an audience Q&A session to discuss his very “Nunny” career. The evening ends with a champagne reception and with Dan Goggin signing copies of the newly-published “25th Anniversary Nunsense Songbook”, followed by a meet-and-greet with Goggin and Deborah Del Mastro.

Sister Robert Anne’s Cabaret Class is a celebration of the songs Sister Robert Anne has debuted in the six Nunsense musicals with two new songs from the upcoming seventh “Nunsense” called Nunset Boulevard: The Nunsense Hollywood Bowl Show. This sneak preview at Playhouse on the Green will mark the first public performance of the show prior to playing venues around the country. About Sister Robert Anne’s Cabaret Class at Playhouse on the Green, Dan Goggin said: "The audiences at Playhouse on the Green have always been so enthusiastic and supportive of my Nunsense musicals I thought it would be a great place to try out a new show before it went on tour."

Dan Goggin directs Deborah Del Mastro as Sister Robert Anne. Leo P. Carusone is Musical Director. Richard Latta is Lighting Designer. Patti Rice is Stage Manager. Scott M. Robbins and Matt Schicker are producers of Sister Robert Anne’s Cabaret Class.
