Twenty-One Elephants - Children's book reading and talk

1-3: Barnstormers: Tales of Travelin' Nine Series, Playing the Field,
and Shoeless Joe & Black Betsy, will read this favorite tale with
ties to P.T. Barnum and be available to sign autographs after the
reading and talk.
This colorful tale of Hannah and her father takes place
in 1883 at the time of the building of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York
City, considered at the time the eighth wonder of the world. Hannah
wants to cross the bridge but her family and the town worry about the
safety of the structure. With the help of some well-known elephants,
Hannah launches a persistent and creative plan to prove the strength of
the "metal monster." Illustrated by LeUyen Pham, the book reading level
will delight children ages 4 to 8.
